In 2023 the band consolidates the new lineup with a large number of shows
and releasing as a advance of his fourth album, the single "El Poder de la Mentira"

For 2022 Mathras presents Charly Coria as its new singer, while preparing its fourth studio album.

The years 2020 and 2021 due to the Pandemic, the group is dedicated to performing several Online Shows.

In December 2019 MATHRAS officially presents "Sociedades Secretas" and celebrates 10 years of the first album "Mathras".

August 2019 MATHRAS comes out on the cover of the renowned Metálica publication,
as well as notes and very good comments about the album "Sociedades Secretas" in various publications, highlighting the Efecto Metal magazine.

In January 2019 they released the album under the Metal Sin Records label "Sociedades Secretas"

2017 and 2018 are years where the band dedicated itself to performing shows where their performances stand out together with Dooguie White
both in the City of Buenos Aires and in the city of La Plata.

On Saturday December 3, 2016 MATHRAS officially presented the album "Alquimia".

During 2016 MATHRAS made a series of radio and television presentations in acoustic format.

In 2015, they present live the album "Alquimia" highlighting the show where they are supports of Paul Di´Anno in his visit to Argentina.
They also participate in the Argentine Tribute to Whitesnake entitled "Walking In The Shadow Of The Snake" with the theme "Young Blood".

In June 2015 they released the album "Alquimia" under the label Metal Sin Records

In December the band presented the videoclip of "En lo Profundo" in the CM Rock program,
showing a preview of what will be their new 2014 CD "Alquimia".

Closing the year, the 21st December they threw a show with Hagrid and Kamikaze at the legendary Manzana de Las Luces,
an emblematic building of Buenos Aires city.

In September 7th Mathras was part of the Motoencuentro Diamante's concert schedule, playing for a large audience.

In August 10th, the band took part in the "Metal Para Todos VI" Festival together with Rata Blanca, Tren Loco and many more local bands.

In July 2013 Ariel Varas is the new singer.
With this line-up the group made their first presentation in Diamante, Entre Ríos.

In late 2012 the band started to produce and record the second studio album and closed the year participating in the "Castelli Rock 2012" Festival.

In January 2013 Mathras played in Martinez and for the very first time they gave a show in La Plata (Province of Buenos Aires).
In March, they shared stage with Saxon once again.

In October 6th Mathras performed in the "Metal Para Todos V" Festival, closing the stage named "Claudio Vattino"
and in the same month they played in the Roxy Live once again, this time together with local band Kamikaze.

The year 2012 found Mathras doing a lot of shows in different cities of the Buenos Aires province,
such as Lomas de Zamora, El Jagüel, Guernica and Junín, among many others.

In June the band held its first show in San Luis and played with Raven at The Roxy Live (Buenos Aires).

And later that same year the videoclip of "Sueños" was presented in the MTL TV program.

In October 25th Mathras performed at the Teatro de Flores with the legendary band Saxon.

In early 2010 the band released their first video of the song "La Verdad Oculta" , which was presented in the TV program "Desde Abajo"
through the Music Channel (CM). In May, Santiago Aciar left the band due to personal issues
and the experienced Norberto Rodriguez (former Vago, Temple, etc.) was called to perform an already scheduled show.

In November 2010 Martin Carriquiry (Luthien) was officially confirmed as the new singer.

In December, the band made several shows Buenos Aire and continued peforming in other argentine cities.

In May 2011, with this new lineup, the band released the video of the song "Sueños" whose presentation was officially made in the "CM Rock" TV program.

In June 20th, Mathras attended a Festival organized by Metálica Fanzine, where Virgin Steele, Rage, Hirax and some other local bands shared the stage.

This first album was well considered by the media and consolidated Mathras into the argentine heavy metal scene.

The band was formed in March 2008 from an idea by Gustavo Ruben and Sergio Marti, former partners in Montreal.
Then, they decided to join bassist Fernando Barreiro (Heimdal) and Santiago Aciar (Corsario).

Half way through the year 2009, they released their first CD called "Mathras". It was recorded and mastered at KSB Digital Studio by Axel Sierra Bas,
with Javier Barrozo (vocals in "Contra la Pared") and Axel Sierra Bas (vocals in "La Verdad Oculta " Alternative Version) as guest musicians.
