The band formed in March 2008 from an idea by Gustavo Ruben and Sergio Marti, former fellow travelers in Montreal, in his debut CD.

The sound is within the range of heavy rock.

After a couple of tests, decided to join forces with bassist Fernando Barreiro from the group and James Heimdal Aciar Former Corsair.

A half of 2009 released the CD "Mathras", recorded and mastered at KSB Digital Studio by Axel Sierra Bas. With the participation of guest musicians
such as Javier Barrozo vocals on "Against The Wall" and Axel Sierra Bas voice in "The Hidden Truth" (Alternative Version).

In May 2010 for problems unrelated to the group Aciar Santiago left the band,
entering instead the experienced singer Norberto Rodriguez (Ex Vago / Temple, among others).

In November 2010 Martin Carriquiry (Luthien) is officially confirmed as the new singer of Mathras, with which the group is preparing what will be his new CD.
